A New Garden Room & Boot Room - Cheriton

The brief

The existing conservatory provided limited, seasonal space and no longer met the needs of the house. The brief was to create more usable living space and a dedicated garden room that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

The design solution

The proposal replaces the existing conservatory with a carefully designed permanant extension, creating light filled garden room that feels connected to the garden while providing a comfortable, practical space for everyday use. The palette of materials and detailing complements the existing cottage, including exposed brickwork and open eaves.

A simple, considered extension within the Cheriton Conservation Area and South Downs National Park.
