Single Storey Extension and Refurbishment

The clients wanted to transform a services of separate rooms to provide a more connected family home.

The design creates an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, enlarged utility room and separate snug to provide a more intimate space.

Large sliding doors connect to the garden and flood the space with light. A large roof lantern brings additional light into the dining area.

The palette of materials including render, brick and tile-slip coping, complements the existing house.

The result is a more flexible and sociable home, better suited to how the family wanted to live and spend time together.
